Clarks unboxed is a triumph of digital narrative

Clarks have been making shoes for decades, so it's no surprise they've not got the best street cred today. The kids want cool!

Perhaps that's why the brand decided to tell its story online. Turns out it's been moulding fashion trends worn by both stars and the man on the street—even Walter White—for nearly two centuries!

There's a lot of content on this site and it's unlikely anyone's going to look at all of it, but what they do see will be high quality. The design keeps things interesting, the copy is nicely written and, at the end of the timeline, real consumers' images reinforce the idea that maybe Clarks isn't so unfashionable after all. All in all, I think it's a great site.
