Etsy launches first global ad campaign

This week Etsy introduces its first global advertising campaign, which celebrates the expression of individuality, much like the stuff it sells. While we might be surprised to learn that the online marketplace – which has 1.7 million sellers with 40 million items to sell at any given moment – has lacked a global ad campaign until this week, the wait has been worth it. With the unifying slogan, “Difference Makes Us”, Etsy brilliantly shows the importance of owning your brand identity – in this case, in the form of coffee mugs and nightstands. Read more on Adweek.
