Target specific emojis on Twitter

There's some interesting opportunities with Twitter's new emoji targeting. Domino's and Pizza Hut can target people who use the pizza emoji, or Kleenex could strike a somber tone and have some fun with anyone that uses the crying face.

Other suggestions include brands advertising during Tour de France wanting to engage with anyone who uses the guy on a bicycle, though… When using this new tool, let's remember the nature of emoji, and not use strokes as broad as this.

The little messaging cartoons are so popular, in part, thanks to their versatility—and just because I sent a tweet using the guy on the bicycle, doesn't actually mean I am into cycling in the slightest… now get on yer bike 🚲
