Airbnb announced today that it is expanding its company offering significantly, moving beyond home-sharing and into “holistic travel”.
Its new feature, ‘Trips’, provides travellers with one-stop travel shop.The feature focuses on three areas—experiences, places and homes—and the company plans to add flights and services in the future.
They’ve started rolling out Trips with three movie-like trailers, and posters – which focus on three key experiences in different areas.
The ‘Experiences’ and ‘Places’ section of the feature offer interesting advertising potential for local brands. Now, it’s just a matter of who does it first…
