Google Flights is pulling in an increasing number of consumers

Google Flights is storming ahead of it’s competitors, drawing in increasingly large audiences through 2016, with the trend set to continue into 2017. While searches for Google Flights jumped 22 points in January 2017 versus December 2016, the three other competitors – Kayak, Skyscanner and Momodo – saw searches for their sites rise for a combined total of only 12 points. The effect of this change will see the ways people search flights and holiday details shift, increasingly away from a number of diverse sites and towards a singular platform that offers all information under one roof with integration across calendar and email.
