Chatbots are winning over social media users

The interactions social media users are having with chatbots is increasing in positive sentiment according to a study from Retale,a provider of location-based mobile advertising, which last year examined how consumers are reacting to the use of chatbots. Polling 500 millennials aged 18 through 34 last December,Retale found that 58 per cent of those polled had interacted with a chatbot on social; among the group who had not,53 percent were interested. Significantly, of the millennials sampled, 87 per cent indicated that brands should use chatbots to promote products,deals, and services. While chatbots are still in their infancy on social media,
