Instagram steps up analytics functionality to offer verified brands greater insight on performance of content

Verified businesses on Instagram can now tap into metrics and insights through Instagram’s API – creating easy and efficient ways to measure page performance outside the app’s current mobile Insights function.

The increase in data access and functionality to brands means that there is a sharp rise in visibility around performance, as well as giving businesses access to content metrics and new tools for managing comments. Business accounts already had access to these sorts of features already, but this is the first time Instagram has given them the ability use those features through their marketing dashboards, or separate platforms.
